I am so grateful for all of you and your hard work and dedication. These past few weeks, we have been confronted with the fact that not everyone is paid a fair wage for the amount of work that they do. I know that is true for everyone in our building. I support everyone's right to advocate for themselves and I know that the method many are using are these "sick out" days. I also appreciate the dedication that our IAs and our cafeteria staff have shown despite being well within their rights to participate in this effort. Everyone of you have been so flexible and willing and positive even with added stressors both personal and professional. This all contributes to that GHE Magic that people feel when they walk in this building. Other schools are losing staff members left and right, but I am so happy to report that we just filled our last vacancy with the awesome Ms. Rhyna Smith! It is worth noting, that Ms. Smith wanted to see our building before she accepted the position. I have no doubt that your incredible spirit won her over.
